24K Gold by DNA Genetics is a productive strain that has a high resin yield and is characteristically vigorous; during the growth period, this strain grows amazingly without stopping until at least the fourth week of the flowering period. It comes from a cross between Kosher Kush and Tangie, a combination of two of their most sought after strains, but also two extremely different strains. To stabilize this strain, they carefully picked the phenotypes and retro-crossed, achieving just three phenotypes that are extremely similar.
Indoors, this strain requires its grower to be somewhat experienced; it has a typically indica structure that grows much stronger, making for plants that are too big to grow indoors. If you grow them using the SCRoG technique you can get the most out of their amazing structure, although they’ll need a slightly longer growth period. You’ll need to place 6 specimens per square meter and give them a decent growth period; you should end up with a small number of giant plants, getting up to 500g per square meter. Depending on the phenotype, they might take a little longer to grow, although most of them have a flowering period of about 9 to 10 weeks.
In outdoor crops this strain has an amazing production capacity, thriving without any issues in a neutral climate with its best and most productive specimens. In areas with low temperatures, the size of these plants will be considerably smaller, although they will be more potent due to the fact that resin production will be greater. It grows into a hard, sturdy structure although we recommend tutoring it to avoid any issues, making sure that the branches don’t break in half due to excessive weight. You’ll need to wait until mid-October to harvest this strain, and you can get up to 800g per plant.
It has an extremely fruity flavor combined with the flavors of both of its ancestors, making for citric tones similar to oranges, with an amazing hash aftertaste that gives the smoke a special touch. It gives a relaxing effect with a cerebral, happy touch, giving its consumer a good mood in which they will feel like laughing at anything and everything.
