Mazar by Dutch Passion is one of the most robust and easiest plants to grow in Dutch Passion’s bank. The original plant is from the 80s and it was back-crossed in order to find its most stable and productive clone. Every grower should try this plant at least once.
Indoors they don’t grow that much over a meter, but they do have quite a lot of branches in a Christmas tree-like structure. It has an extremely pungent aroma when flowering, so we recommend using anti-odor filters or other odor-treatment systems. You can get up to 500g with just 7 plants per square meter. This strain has quite a long flowering period and it’ll be ready in 9 flowering weeks.
If planted outdoors, it’ll grow almost 2m tall in your garden or greenhouse. It grows a lot of branches, which makes it hard to the light to reach all parts of the plant – you’ll need to train the branches and open them up a bit so the plant can grow properly. You can get an astonishing 700g per plant, as long as they’re grown in the ground with plenty of root space. It has long, Skunk buds that have the density and thickness of an Afghan plant, combining the resin from both plants. Speaking from a place of experience, this plant has the most resin that I’ve ever seen.
It has a nice, average high when smoked, as it isn’t too relaxing nor is it too energetic, so it’s perfect to smoke every day if you’re so inclined. It has a sweet, strong flavor with hints of fresh mint. Any grower worth his or her salt should try growing this strain at least once due to its amazingly professional results.
