C99 by Female Seeds is an original hybrid originating from the famous Cinderella99 by the Canadian brothers Grimm. The two fruitiest phenotypes were selected, pineapple and grapefruit, and then they were crossed to make C99. This strain has been renowned now for a while, and has a good reputation with those who grow it.
Indoors, this plant works just as well in soil as in coconut or hydroponics. It needs about 4 weeks of growth before moving on to the flowering period (12h/12h). Once the light period is changed, these plants take only 56 days to flower. If grown correctly, you should get a medium-high superior quality harvest.
Outdoors, these plants need to be somewhere with a lot of hours of direct sunlight so that it can grow out its side branches and therefore grow bigger. Because this plant is a hybrid and has both sativa and indica qualities, you’re going to have to hold up the branches with mesh so that they don’t break in half towards the end of the flowering period. Your crop should be ready by the beginning or middle of October.
The taste is strong and fruity, hinting at pineapple and grapefruit with some acidic undertones that make for a great contrast. It has an active, creative effect, and when coming down from the high you will feel an intense muscle relaxation.
