Purple Trainwreck

Purple Trainwreck by Humboldt Seeds Organization is an exotic-looking plant with purple buds and leaves, as well as fire-red pistils. This sativa-dominant hybrid has quite a short flowering period. It gives large yields of long, resinous cola all over the plant that can bend the branches down to the ground. We recommend setting up strings and stakes around the plant to hold it up outdoors, and using a SCRoG system indoors.

Indoors we recommend giving them quite a short growth period before flipping the light period or simply using a SCRoG system. Its short flowering period makes it perfect for growing indoors. It does well with soil, hydroponics and aeroponics. Its long branches are easy to intertwine with a SCRoG mesh. These plants produce up to 450g per square meter of beautiful flowers in the hands of a professional grower.

Outdoors Purple Trainwreck can grow absolutely enormous, easily growing over 3m tall in the hands of an expert. Its long branches will definitely need to be trained or they’ll bend and break. You might want to grow it in a greenhouse if you live somewhere with short or rainy summers in order to protect its deliciously think buds from rot. It’ll keep growing and maturing until the start of October, producing an amazing 700g per plant when done right.

Its incredible pine-resin aroma turns into a sweet, fruity flavor when smoked. It gives quite an invigorating effect for such a fast-flowering plant.
