More product information
Sour Blueberry by Humboldt Seeds Organization can go blue during the flowering period. This Sativa hybrid is extremely fast-flowering. This plant can grow quite large with long distances between leaf-nodes that produce loads of buds. Its characteristic blue color only appears if these plants get low enough temperatures during the flowering period.
Indoors, you should set them to 12/12h from the start to avoid them growing too big, although you can use a SCRoG system with one month of growth before flipping the lights. If you want the buds to turn blue, you’ll need to lower the temperatures to 16ºC. This can happen naturally in indoor grows, so you might get lucky. If not, you’ll need an air con unit. You can get up to 400g per square meter of exotic, resinous flowers under the right conditions.
Outdoors they can grow up to 3m tall. Sour Blueberry grows quite a lot of branches that you’ll want to train so that they don’t bend and break under the weight of the buds. It’ll be ready towards mid-October – if it tends to rain where you live around October, you’ll need to grow in a greenhouse if you don’t want your entire grow ruined. Sour Blueberry is capable of growing plenty of thick colas, producing up to 1kg per plant under the right conditions.
Its sweet, intoxicating aroma is one of wild berries, acidic and sweet at the same time. It gives a balanced effect, slightly relaxing and mentally stimulating.
