Mr. Sour-R

Mr. Sour-R by Mr. Hide Seeds is a high yielding version of Diesel, having been crossed with the legendary Big Bud, making for quite a unique Diesel strain. It also produces quite a spectacular amount of resin, ending up 90% covered in resin from top to bottom. It also has an intense aroma, and you can use its resin for making potent extracts.

When grown indoors, you’ll need to make the most of its tall structure to get the highest possible yield – this strain’s perfect for the SoG growing method, with around 20 plants per square meter. If you grow it for less time before flipping the lights and then prune the lower branches you’ll be able to increase yield on the central stem. You can harvest up to an amazing 500g per square meter by practically just flowering for 9 weeks, making it an incredibly fast grower.

When grown outdoors you’ll need to take special care with insect infestations, as its intense aroma can easily attract creepy crawlies such as white flies or mites – you’ll definitely need to use some sort of preventive measure. When planted at the start of the season, it can grow up to 2m tall, growing a few more branches than indoors and yielding an impressive 650g per plant. You’ll need to wait until the end of October to harvest this plant, and we recommend training it to hold up its branches and also increase final yield.

When smoked, you can clearly taste its Diesel genes, with that citric and sour flavor that everyone knows and loves. It has a balanced effect, making it perfect for any situation as it won’t have you super stoned or too hyped.
