Grapefruit by Positronics is a plant that loves the Mediterranean heat and it hates humidity, as it’s quite susceptible to rot outdoors, and you might even want to use preventive products indoors too.
When grown indoors it grows most of its yield on the central stem, and around 4 or 6 side branches that also have quite a lot of flowers growing in them. After just 55 flowering days it should be ready to harvest, and you’ll need to find the right dry place to grow, using porpolis if necessary to keep fungi at bay.
When grown outdoors, these 400g plants should be ready to harvest towards the first/second week in October – like we said before, be careful with fungi. This plant grows and flowers quite well into a sturdy structure, strong enough to easily hold up its flowers without needing to be trained.
Grapefruit has a wide range of aromas, going from fruity to a dense, spicy flavor. Its soft flavors will stick around in your taste buds for a while, with a lovely citric undertone.
