El Alquimista

El Alquimista by Samsara Seeds is a plant that combines the power of two legendary strains in one, resulting in a plant that’s incredibly easy to grow and can resist all sort of rookie mistakes while still yielding great results. This plant grows out long colas of sweet, potent buds.

When grown indoors, El Alquimista has quite an open structure, so four plants per square meter are more than enough. Most of its yield comes from the central calyx and the tips of the branches, so make sure to turn them every day to ensure equal light distribution. After around 60 flowering days your plants should be ready to harvest, producing p to 450g per 600w of light.

Outdoors is where this strain does best, however, as it loves being planted straight into the ground under plenty of sunlight. It’s quite a strong plant, capable of dealing with high temperatures, and it flowers fast in order to avoid end of summer rain. You might want to train the branches so that they don’t bend and break under the weight of the buds. Towards the end of September you’ll be able to harvest up to 700g per plant.

It’s quite a sweet plant that produces thick smoke. It gives an active, energetic effect to start off with, which slowly turns into an intensely relaxing sensation that can have you couch-locked if you don’t pace yourself.
