Somango

Somango is a feminized seed by Soma Seeds. It used to be called Somango #5 but it was then renamed Somango due to its peculiar mango aroma and flavor. In order to make this strain, a Super Skunk, a Big Skunk Korean and a Jack Herer were crossed. Soma recommends growing this plant organically in order to get the most out of its flavor. It has a compact shape, although it does grow quite tall with a lot of branches.

When grown indoors they might get a little out of control in as far as height, so you’ll need to use a SCRoG net as well as giving it 1 to 2 weeks at most of vegetative period before flipping the lights to 12/12h – it’ll take around 70 days to finish flowering. Under 600w grow lights you can get around 280g per square meter under good conditions.

If you decide to grow it outdoors, it does well in all sorts of climates although it prefers mild areas. It needs as many possible hours of sunlight that it can get, and you should also train the branches in order to increase final yield and quality, as well as being an extra helping hand when it comes to wind and rain. Your plants will be ready to harvest towards the beginning of October, and you can get up to 400g per plant.

Somango has a unique, delicious flavor; like its name says, it has a peculiar mango taste, sometimes with a pineapple aftertaste. You’ll start feeling its effects after just a few drags, leaving you feeling euphoric and energetic. This is the perfect strain to smoke when meeting up with friends.
