More product information
Caboose by Strain Hunters is a Californian strain that comes from a combination between two popular US strains; Trainwreck and a Big Bud from the Salmon Creek. This seed bank belongs to Green House Seeds and offers amazing strains such as this one, which has gone through plenty of work in order to keep it balanced and productive.
Indoors it grows compact with wide branches and short internodes. It does well in pretty much any growing medium as long as you adjust the EC and pH accordingly. Thanks to its structure you won’t 100% need to train it but it always helps to grow larger, thicker buds which can be done with a little extra care. Once it begins flowering, it’ll be 65-70 days until it’s ready, yielding up to 450g per square meter when done perfectly. During the last two weeks it’ll absolutely explode, growing larger buds and plenty of resin.
Outdoors this strain will need a mild climate and long summers or a greenhouse in order to keep it safe; it doesn’t like cold at all. You can plant this strain from April-May onwards in order to avoid possible cold temperatures and make sure it gets sun and heat from the start. It grows short and compact, making it perfect for guerrilla style grows – they rarely grow over 160-170cm tall, yielding around 400g per plant towards the beginning of October. Apart from its enormous flowers, you’ll be entranced by the amount of resin this weed can yield outdoors.
It combines orange, citric flavors with an intense flowery aftertaste that has hints of Diesel and Kush. Its effect isn’t that long-lasting, with an energetic initial high and a more relaxing stoned come-down, perfect for relaxing evenings.
