Bisho Purple by Tropical Seeds Co is a feminized strain that has the potential to be your new favorite strain. It’s a combination between Ciskei, SouthAfrica and Pakistan Chitral Kush, which took tears to perfect and was finished thanks to Aeritos, a Spanish breeder with plenty of experience in the cannabis sector. It’s an even sativa/indica hybrid, 50/50%, and its four different phenotypes can be told apart from their color; green, lilac and dark purple, and their relaxing versus energetic effect.
Indoors these plants obviously vary in phenotype but their structures are more or less similar – they grow wide, intensely green leaves thanks to their Pakistani genes, and they also grow a lot of branches straight out from the central stem. Bisho Purple does well with fungi infestations, although make sure to keep an eye on the relative humidity in your grow tent or room and keep it under 50% during the flowering period in order to avoid possible issues with rot. It should be ready to harvest after 8-9 flowering weeks, giving large yields under perfect conditions.
Outdoors this plant can really shine if it gets the space. You’ll want to top it after the third node, and it’ll grow into a sort of round, bushy beautiful plant. The more tims you top it, the better you’ll be able to control its height, and its buds will be more balanced too. They should be ready to harvest towards beginning-to-mid-October, yielding up to 600g per plant of deliciously resinous buds. Once you’ve began the curing process you’ll hardly be able to resist smoking it before it’s finished.
The green phenotypes tend to give a sort of social and active effect, whereas the purple ones tend to give more of a narcotic effect – the darker the buds, the more relaxing their effect. The green phenotypes tend to have a sort of pine and apple flavor, whereas the purple ones have sort of a berry flavor. This plant can also be used as a medicinal strain.
