Hielo by Venus Genetics is a strain that was created by using an Ice, a specific White Widow phenotype that produces incredibly resinous plants. Thanks to its enormous amount of trichomes, the buds go a sort of white-ish color, as if it’s covered in ice. These plants grow strong and sturdy, capable of being grown in any setting. It’s also the perfect plant from which to make resin extracts, especially from the leftover trimmings.

Indoors this plant grows quite wide when compared to other strains. In order to make the most out of your space, we recommend placing around 4 plants per square meter for around 25-30 days in a 3.5L pot, and then transplant it to a 7L pot once you flip the lights. This will allow it to grow efficiently, and after just 65 flowering days you’ll be able to harvest around 450g per square meter.

Outdoors, these wide and high yielding plants will grow extremely large given the right amount of space. It’s extremely important to not plant them near each other if they’re in the ground, as their roots can easily intertwine. Once they begin to flower you’ll see their buds slowly being filled with a thick layer of resin. Towards the beginning of October, your plants will be ready to harvest, yielding up to 1.5kg of delicious buds.

It has a sort of metallic, earthy flavor that’s sweet too – a typical White Widow flavor. It gives a relaxing effect, and it’s the perfect strain for those looking for a medicinal effect to calm them down.
