Jack Attack

Jack Attack by Venus Genetics is a strain that has definitely earned its name – it has every single Jack Herer characteristic that you can think of. It has quite a long flowering period, meaning that many growers instantly reject the thought of growing this plant, disregarding the fact that it has one of the best mentally stimulating effects in the world of cannabis. It also does well in all kinds of climates and growing areas, whether they’re indoors or outdoors – anywhere with 5 direct hours of sun should be good enough for Jack Attack.

Indoors it grows incredibly fast, so you’ll need to flip the lights early on. Even if you flip it early, it won’t begin flowering as it still needs to grow but it’ll grow just as well under 12h of light as 18h. At day 27-30 it should start flowering, and it can take up to 80 more days to finish up. It yields long colas of buds all over each and every branch. You can harvest up to 450g per square meter from this impressive strain.

Outdoors this strain does wonderfully wherever you want to plant it – the more sun, the better, although it does well in cold and humid climates. This tall plant is clearly sativa, with long side branches and colas of buds centered on the main stem. This strain appreciates being topped early-on, which can improve both structure and yield. You’ll need to wait to harvest until the beginning of November, although the wait is worth it; you can harvest over 1kg per plant.

It has an incensed, sweet flavor that’ll linger in the air for a while. It gives an energetic, elevating and mentally stimulating effect. Its high THC quantity makes for a clear, light trip – perfect for laughing with friends and to induce creativity.
