Purple#1 is a strain by Dutch Passion. It's widely known for the color of its buds and its powerful psychoactive effect. This 50/50 indica/sativa hybrid has been very widely used by other banks in their crosses. Hybrids as famous as Purple Haze descend from this strain which really is the original one. In turn, it comes from a very peculiar Afghan purple plant. It was hybridized in Holland with native plants, selecting both indicas and sativas. This is a very tough outdoor plant, completely adapted to cultivation in colder and more humid climates such as the one in Holland. It's perfect to be planted in the northern areas of Spain. Calyces become purple very early after the start of the bloom. Buds frosted with rein become covered with leaves in purple and violet shades. It's a true visual show. Plants usually grow up to 1 to 2m high.
This plant is not suitable for indoor cultivation since it won't be very productive in this kind of setting. Neither will it generate those famous color s, nor the flavours which made it famous. If, despite it all, we decide to plant it indoors, we recommend using a SoG to increase the yield. It would also be important to keep a relatively low temperature in order to witness all its color range.
Outdoors, this strain would rather be grown in the winter. It appreciates cold and abundant humidity. A climate similar to the one in Netherlands is the most appropriate. This is a very resistant plant, almost invulnerable to fungi. It flowers very fast and easily despite the sativa contribution of its genetic makeup. We'll be able to get up to 350g from a 1.5m plant. It's a perfect plant for outdoor winter crops and also greenhouses. When the conditions above are met, this special plant we are looking for will really come out.
The aroma of Purple 1 is very peculiar and tasty. It has a very marked and chemical Diesel scent. In the same way, the flavour will transport us to a factory, a petrol station or a refinery. It has both a mind and body effect, perfectly balanced. This powerful strain will leave you knocked out on the sofa or in bed for hours, plunged in an introspective state that will be intensified progressively. After a short time, a narcotic feeling of drowsiness will appear. It's perfect to go to bed and meditate about what happened over the day.
