Rothenberguer vacuum pumps need to be connected to a desiccator in order to be able to use them properly. You’ll be able to vacuum purge your extract, leaving it 100% pure and natural without any gas residues. If you need to purge your wax extract efficiently, you’ll need a vacuum pump.
This professional pump has various characteristics that make it quite useful; it has an electro-valve that’s in charge of keeping the chamber air-tight without letting the vacuum up, even if the pump is off. If this isn’t done, your extract can be ruined by sudden air intake.
It also has a thermic circuit breaker that turns the motor off if it overheats so that it doesn’t end up burning out. We don’t recommend using this pump for over 15 minutes at a time; 15 on and 15 off in order to keep it vacuum sealed. If you use it for too long you might end up ruining the extract or ruining the membranes in charge of the vacuum seal.
Make sure the pump is oiled up or else it can break quite easily. It has a large hole so you won’t need a funnel for the oil.
