Besides being more resistant to the passage of time, the Combiconnect tube is covered with a layer of black plastic that makes it resistant to ozone.
Ozone is a gas suitable to reduce odor from cannabis grows, but it oxidizes aluminum. Because of this, you can’t use a normal aluminum tube with ozonizers.
Also, it will prevent the light from getting out of your tent, or the outside light from coming in.
