Neptune Hydroponics Air Pump 3500L/h. Renowned and high-quality pump, very popular among hydroponic growers. Thanks to our air pump our tanks with nutrients solution will be totally oxygenated thanks to the large flow rate of this pump (up to 3500L/h).
It works fantastically with large-size tanks, for instance, with 200L or 500L ones, where classic and smaller water pumps are overworked.
A badly oxygenated tank will cause plants to stress seriously, harming their development and production. Indeed, a lack of oxygen results in the plants not ingesting NPK. On the other hand, if we oxygenate water, quality will increase considerable and plants will feed at their normal or even at an accelerated pace.
When water temperature is higher than 25°C, useful oxygen is lost. Therefore, if we are growing with hydroponics we must consider this important factor and check water temperature permanently with a suction cup thermometer.
With this pump we can choose any of the air stone diffusers of our selection, which come in different sizes, shapes and models.
