If you want to adjust the water flow of each branch or you want to shut off the line going to a particular row of plants, all you have to do is install one of these valves. They can be used in any section of 16mm or 25mm hoses.
Sometimes, when you have an irrigation system, some plants get more water than others because the flow tends to go more towards a certain side (due to an uneven installation or ground, curves in the lay-out or the number of drippers).
Just by cutting the hose and setting this in-line valve section, you'll have the means to adjust water flow or even interrupt it in that particular branch. Valves give you total control over your automatic irrigation system.
