If you are planning to install an automatic irrigation system, you will need a punch to drill the holes in the 16mm pipe, so that the drippers with micro-tube can fit in perfectly and there aren't any water leaks.
All you have to do is exert a slight pressure on the pipe to create the opening and then insert the micro-tube in it.
