Calcium Kick

Calcium Kick by Plagron is a pH corrector that helps prevents deficiencies, too. It is added to the substrate when you prepare the mixture to fill your pots or it is mixed with the soil to improve the substrate quality in places that have already been cultivated intensively.

It is a solid product that does not dissolve easily in water, so it is must not be used in automatic irrigation systems. It consists of 50% calcium and 50% magnesium that will be very useful when we prepare the soil either before planting or transplanting.

Its main purpose is to prevent deficiencies in cultures with deionized or soft water. Besides, it serves the important function of balancing the soil pH once it has been properly mixed. It keeps the soil stable as the weeks go by, something that may not always be the case even when we control the pH of the watering solution.

These fluctuations of pH are due to the application of chemical/mineral fertilizers and to the very same roots of the plants which vary these values since they assimilate some nutrients faster than others.

Dosage and instructions for use:

• We will add 2.5-5g per L of substrate and mix well
• This quantity will raise the pH in 1 to 2 points.

Composition:

•  50% calcium
•  50% magnesium.
