Jiffy7 peat 24 mm

Jiffy7 plugs have been made with pressed peat and an extra of coco fiber (25%).

They have an aired structure and are spongy to the touch. They are the favorite substrate for a lot of growers when it comes to germinating seeds or making cuttings.

Thanks to these discs our plants can root fast and in a sterile environment free of pests and fungi.

To prepare them we just leave them soaking in water for a few minutes until they are swollen; the next and most important step consists in draining them well and strongly in our hands to remove all the water excess.

If we do not do this, the seeds may not germinate, they may become black and rot due to an excess of humidity. By following these simple indications there will be no problem.

The size of these plugs, 24mm, is usually chosen by growers that need putting the largest possible number of cuttings or seeds in the greenhouse; as they are smaller than other models more units will accommodate on the tray.

It is an authorized product in ecological agriculture. It is a natural environment-friendly option and it is the alternative to rockwool cubes.
