More product information
Azos by Xtreme Gardening supports your plants during the rooting and growth. Beneficial bacteria for your plants that transform the atmospheric nitrogen into molecules assimilable by your plants, fostering their vegetative and root growth.
It works with cuttings, germinated seeds and growing plants. You can use Azos by Xtreme Gardening both in soil and hydro to improve the yield of your crops.
Azos by Xtreme Gardening are bacteria that were first found in the Amazonian rainforest, where plants live in constant competition with each other and nutrients are scarce. These beneficial bacteria reinforce and enhances your plants in every way, providing an endless source of nitrogen that fixes from the air into the growth medium in the form of assimilable molecules.
Azos bacteria can’t stand mineral salts, so you’ll have to irrigate your plants with 100% organic fertilizers, once released in the substrate.
The important contribution of nitrogen that Azos provides, requires you to carefully control the supply of this element to avoid the over fertilization of your plants. You may even have to stop providing nitrogen at all once the bacteria have adapted to the medium.
Azos by Xtreme Gardening’s dosage and usage:
Azos is used only with clones that have to take root, transplantation cuttings, seeds and growing plants both in soil and hydro. Stop adding it once the flowering begins. Mineral salts kill these bacteria, so don’t add chemical fertilizers if you use Azos.
Clones:
- Add 60mL (with a measuring cup) in 4 litres of water, add the rooting medium in it for 10 minutes, remove and drain. Mix one part of Azos with two of water in a container and dip in it the stem for 3 seconds before planting it in the rooting medium. There’s no need for anything else in order to take root inside the propagator.
- Add up to15mL per 4 litres of water to your X-Stream or rooting machine if you go hydro or aero.
- Add another 10mL (despite being power, reach that mark on the cup) to the substrate where you’ll be transplanting the already rooted cuttings.
With growing plants:
- Add 160mL in 4 litres of water. Use half a litre per plant with each irrigation. For a stronger effect, use water with pH 6. That application and measure is for eight plants.
Hydro:
- Add 220mL with a measuring cup to a tank of 200L. Add again when you replace the water for the growth stage.
Azos by Xtreme Gardening’s composition:
- Azospirillum brasilene
