Powder Feeding - Calcium by Green House is an additive for your nutrient mix when you only use distilled, rain or osmosis water (Ec=0.0), since it lacks this element.
When growing in coco and hydro, and increasingly more often in soil, water with very low Ec (about 0.0 or 0.1) is being used to irrigate our plants, so they usually have deficiencies of minerals such as calcium.
With Powder Feeding Calcium, you’ll provide your plants with quality minerals to cover those deficiencies that usually appear during the flowering, often ruining the harvest.
Calcium acts in your plant helping to transport water and nutrients, it helps hardening the cell wall of your plants, providing more resistance to heat and helping bear more weight as it also strengthens the overall structure of the plant.
Since it’s a mineral that’s usually available in the water, it should be used in all the irrigations we do. It’s concentrated enough for your plants to have sufficient calcium, while not saturating the roots. It’s also designed to be sprayed, having a more direct absorption in case you need to correct deficiencies.
Remember that most tap water already contains enough calcium, so use only with water of extremely low Ec.
