LEC 315w lighting kit was designed by the prestigious British brand, Lumii, with which you can easily increase your grow’s yield while also decreasing the amount of money spent on electricity. These kinds of lights were developed to offer light that your plants can easily absorb due to the blue and red tones in the light. The ballast and the reflector come together in one piece, so they’re really easy to install; all you need to do is hang them from the ceiling, connect the cable and place the bulb. This will also allow you to have more lateral space, as the ballast is hung from above, meaning that you have more space for your plants.
The ballast includes a fuse that protects it from short circuit damage, so if there’s any sort of electrical malfunction the fuse will react and cut all electricity off from the bulb. Thanks to this system, the biggest risk you’ll run when it comes to high or low tensions is the possibility that the lights might go out, thus avoiding any possible fires or other issues.
The reflector is designed to cover an area of 0.8x0.8m or 1x1m with a hammertone interior that will help the light be evenly distributed around your entire grow. It has a specific socket for LEC bulbs that will allow you to connect your lamp straight away without needing any sort of adaptors.
You can choose between 2 different kinds of Lumii bulbs; 3200k and 4200k, and 1 Philips 3100k bulb. All of these models have a mixed light spectrum, meaning that you can use them for vegging and flowering. 3200 and 4200 give quite similar results; they both have similar colors but they have different light penetration rates; 3200 is better for growing out the tips of your plants, whereas the 4200 light has a slightly higher penetration rate. The Philips bulb comes with a guarantee of the fact that it’s a world-wide, well-known lighting brand – for a slightly higher price you can get the absolute most out of your grow and your bulb.
